Terms and Conditions


The following Terms and Conditions refers to “you” and “your”, the person accessing https://cometoiceland.is, “we” or “us”, and affiliated websites that are run by Come to Iceland therefore accepting these terms and conditions.
 

Bookings

Bookings are made at website https://cometoiceland.is or by e-mail booking@cometoiceland.is. If any problems are encountered while booking please send an e-mail to booking@cometoiceland.is.

Day tours
In all cases of booking day tours & trips we require full payment. The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payment due from the party. By submitting a booking, you guarantee and confirm to us that you comply with these arrangements.

Multi day tours
In all cases of booking multi-day tours contact us by e-mail at booking@cometoiceland.is regarding payment and arrangements.
 

Payment

Payments at https://cometoiceland.is are made by credit card. We accept most major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Full payment is required for services. Prices on website https://cometoiceland.is are calculated in Icelandic Krona (ISK). All payments that are made at our website are SSL secure to insure safety of transactions and information.
 

Validity of Prices

All prices on website are based on the prices and rates at the current date that given prices are shown for each tour. Prices might change from periods due to events of; currency fluctuation, government taxes or any other cost increases beyond our control.
 

Cancellation – Individual & Groups

Our cancellation policy follows the industry standard and the standard set by Icelandic Travel Industry Association.  All cancellations must be made in writing (e-mail for instance), in conformity with business practices within the Icelandic Travel Industry. Note that any cancellation by passenger(s) within a group may result in a price increase for the whole group or a cancellation fee being charged to the passenger(s) who has/have cancelled. If you choose to cancel tour(s) or alter travel dates considerably, there are policies, rules & guidelines issued by the Icelandic Travel Industry Association, that might affect your cost inherent to these actions. We highly recommend to all our clients to secure themselves with a comprehensive travel insurance to avoid disputes in any cases of cancellation.

Day tours cancellation
You can cancel day tours with up to 48 hours notice and receive a full refund.

Multi day tour cancellation
You can cancel multi day tours up to 7 days before departure. We take a service fee of 10% from the tour price that is non refundable in all cases of cancellation. This percentage reflects our handle of bookings and time & personnel work.

Cancellation due to bad weather conditions
You will receive a full refund in all cases of cancellation due to bad weather.
 

Service Information

Our service suppliers occasionally make changes regarding; tour dates & times, inclusions, exclusions, age requirements, health condition, etc. These changes are monitored carefully to insure all information is up to date. Come to Iceland is not responsible nor can be liable for any information of tours that it does not directly hold and therefore can not provide. Also note that availability of operation and choice of roads may be affected by favorable weather and road conditions.
 

Liability

Come to Iceland can not be hold liable for any accidents, injuries, sickness, delays, negligence, losses, damages, or expenses due to any circumstances by the actions of our service provider(s) or related parties or any other acts of force major eventuality outside of our control.
 

Dissagrements

Come to Iceland is, authorized by the Iceland Tourist Board. Should any disagreement arise, this will be settled in Iceland, according to Icelandic law.
