Please read these terms and condition carefully before booking on our website, upon request by e-mail or via bank transfer. The following Terms and Conditions refers to “you” and “your”, the person accessing, “we” or “us” (Come to Iceland), and affiliated websites that are run by us therefore accepting these terms and conditions.

The person who makes the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payment due from the party. By submitting a booking, you guarantee and confirm to us that you comply with these arrangements. A contract is made between us and you when we have received a full payment and sent you a voucher.

If you want to change your bookings we will help you with that in the best possible way we can. In cases of altering bookings there are no guarantees that can be made, due to vacancies or time and date availability. The earlier you will make a change regarding your booking arrangements the more likely rearrangements can be made.


Payments at are made by credit card. We accept most major credit cards, such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and more. For payments via bank transfer contact us; or for further instructions. Prices on website are calculated in Icelandic Króna (ISK). All payments made on our website are encrypted to secure maximum safety of transactions and information. All online bookings require full payment. Full payment is always required in cases when booking daytours.


All prices on website are given in Icelandic Króna (ISK) which is the local currency in Iceland. Currency exchange rates are according to the daily exchange rates issued by the Central Bank of Iceland.

Validity of Prices

All prices on website are based on the prices and rates at the current date that given prices are shown for each product. Prices might change from periods due to events of; currency fluctuation, government taxes or any other cost increases that may be applied and is beyond our control such as credit card fees, bank transfer fees, etc.

Cancellation – Individual & Groups

Our cancellation policy follows the industry standard and the standard set by Icelandic Travel Industry Association. All cancellations must be made in writing (e-mail for instance), in conformity with business practices within the Icelandic Travel Industry. Note that any cancellation by passenger(s) within a group may result in a price increase for the whole group or a cancellation fee being charged to the passenger(s) who has/have cancelled. If you choose to cancel tour(s) or alter travel dates considerably, there are policies, rules & guidelines issued by the Icelandic Travel Industry Association, that might affect your cost inherent to these actions. We recommend to all our clients to secure themselves with a comprehensive travel insurance in order to avoid disputes and minimize financial loss in any cases of cancellations. Please note that our service provider(s) might have a different cancellation policy than ours in regards to refunds. In any cases of where cancellation policy differs from our service provider(s) policy - their policy will be valid.

Day tours cancellation

More than 1 week before departure - 90% refund for daytours.
Less than 1 week and more than 72 hours before departure - 80% refund for daytours.
Less than 48 hours before departure - No refund for daytours.

Multi day tours cancellation

More than 4 weeks before departure - 80% refund for multi day tours. Less than 4 weeks before departure - 50% refund for multi day tours. Less than 2 weeks and more than 72 hours before departure - 25% refund for multi day tours. Less than 48 hours before departure - No refund for multi day tours.

Service Information

Our service providers occasionally make changes regarding; tour dates & times, inclusions, exclusions, age requirements, health condition, etc. These changes are monitored carefully to insure all information is up to date. Come to Iceland is not responsible nor can be hold liable for any information of tours that it does not directly hold and therefore can not provide. Also note that availability of operation and choice of roads may be affected by favorable weather and road conditions as weather in Iceland can shift quickly.


Come to Iceland does not operate any tours and therefore can not be hold liable for any accidents, injuries, sickness, travel delays (such as flight delays, changes or cancellations), tour delays (due to weather condition or other reasons), strikes, negligence, losses, damages, or expenses due to any circumstances by the actions of our service provider(s) or related parties or any other acts of force major eventuality outside of our control. We recommend to all our clients to secure themselves with a comprehensive travel insurance in order to minimize any loss that might occur due to unforeseen situations.


Come to Iceland is, authorized by the Icelandic Tourist Board. Should any disagreement arise, this will be settled in Iceland, according to Icelandic law.
